Privacy

This site collects as little personal data as possible: no tracking cookies, no ad tracking, and no profiles. This page explains what is processed, why, and by whom.

Who is responsible

kalle.tech UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Michaelkirchstraße 13, 10179 Berlin, Germany, represented by its managing director Kalle Ott. You can reach us through the contact form or by post at the address above.

Hosting

The site runs on a server we operate ourselves and is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., USA), which protects it from attacks and caches pages. To deliver pages, the server and Cloudflare process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.

Contact form

When you send a message, we process your name, email address, and message to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The message is delivered to us by email through Resend (Resend Inc., USA). To block spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare Inc., USA). The security check loads as you approach or interact with the contact form and checks technical browser signals without setting tracking cookies. For both US providers, transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on EU standard contractual clauses. We keep messages only as long as needed for the conversation and any legal retention duties. While you write, a draft of the form is saved locally in this browser tab (session storage). It is cleared after you send the message or when the tab’s session ends.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
